Property Settlement Proposal Service
Australian Mediation offers a private and affordable Property Proposal Preparation service to help separated couples move towards finalising their financial relationship without unnecessary conflict or delay.
This service is designed for people who need help preparing a clear and practical property settlement proposal before presenting it to their ex-partner, directly, or through their legal representative.
Our experienced Property Mediators, who are accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners, can help you identify the combined property pool, consider possible options for dividing assets and liabilities, and work through the practical steps needed to finalise an agreement.
The result is a well-prepared Property Agreement Proposal that outlines your preferred approach to dividing financial and physical assets after separation. If the other party agrees, you should then seek legal advice about formally documenting the agreement.
All Property Proposal Preparation clients receive a FREE copy of our exclusive Property Mediation Preparation Guide, which covers helpful topics including:
– Financial and Property Checklist
– Overview of the 4-Step Property Settlement Process
– Preparing a List of Assets
– Preparing a List of Liabilities
– Preparing a List of Additional Items, including sentimental items
– Seeking Legal Advice
– Seeking Financial Advice and Additional Information
– Preparing and Making a Property Proposal
– Required Actions to Implement Your Property Agreement
Pricing
Property Proposal Preparation sessions are charged at $220.00 for a standard 60-minute session. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed.
